What to expect in a lesson…

  • Breath and Alignment

    Proper alignment and posture promote the best breath possible. The better we breathe, the better we sing! Lessons include breathwork and alignment exercises.

  • Technique and Vocalises

    Vocalises are foundational to healthy singing. Vocalises can focus on range, tone, flexibility…the list is endless. Lessons include customized vocalises for each singer. Recording the exercises for review throughout the week is highly encouraged.

  • Repertoire

    There is so much to consider when choosing a song to sing: The occasion? What key? What arrangement? Lessons include suggestions in selecting repertoire and putting together a well-rounded book.
